Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Azure Solution Architect with a strong technical background and a passion for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Azure technologies and data platforms, with a proven ability to guide enterprise-level projects to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Medallion Architecture.
  • Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows leveraging Spark, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Implement governance frameworks, including Unity Catalog, ensuring compliance, data security, and streamlined data access.
  • Apply advanced performance optimization techniques to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage cost optimization strategies to ensure budget-friendly implementations without compromising quality.
  • Develop and enforce data quality frameworks to maintain high data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, to align solutions with business needs and goals.
  • Stay updated with emerging Azure technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Azure technologies, including Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Medallion Architecture.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Spark, and PySpark.
  • Expertise in SQL for database management and query optimization.
  • Deep understanding of governance frameworks, particularly Unity Catalog.
  • Hands-on experience with performance optimization techniques and cost optimization strategies.
  • Hands-on experience on Unity Catalog.
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields, with significant exposure to Azure platforms.
