We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer (3 to 5 years) with expertise in DAX queries and dashboard management. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to translate business requirements into impactful data visualizations and reports, while effectively managing both IT and business stakeholders. He will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced Power BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Skills Required

Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Desktop/Service.
Proficiency in creating complex dashboards, reports, and data models.
Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with data transformation, data modelling, and performance optimization in Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

DAX Queries & Data Modelling:

Develop complex DAX queries to calculate metrics and KPIs.

Design and optimize data models for efficient report generation.

Work with large datasets and create efficient calculations in Power BI.

Dashboard Development:

Create interactive and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports.

Design visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Customize dashboards for different departments and stakeholders, ensuring relevance and clarity.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.

Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring proper use of Power BI tools.

Advanced Analytics:

Utilize advanced Power BI functionalities, such as custom visuals, query performance optimization, and automation.

Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.

Lead initiatives for data visualization best practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reports.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Power BI or relevant analytics tools.

Knowledge of Azure or cloud-based data platforms.

Experience with integration of Power BI with other data sources and platforms.
